Khbouz markouk is a type of flatbread common on Farius Prime. Dalal, a resident of Maltabra City, baked khbouz markouk in her tandoor, and she served some to Samir al-Halak and Anisar Batra during their visit in 2336 (TLE novel: Well of Souls)

"Markouk" is a flatbread originating from the eastern Mediterranean region on Earth, while "khbouz" apparently is native to Algeria. This particular flatbread variety is presumably a cross between the two.
