Kimitake Noguchi was a Starfleet officer in the 23rd century.

In the 2240s, Noguchi served with Commander George Samuel Kirk, Sr., and the two become very close friends.

By 2264, Noguchi had risen to the rank of admiral, and was responsible for appointing George Kirk's son, James T. Kirk as captain of the USS Enterprise. (TOS novel: Enterprise: The First Adventure)
