In orbit of the Kinjer star system, Kinjer Prime was obliterated over 6,000 years ago when primary star Kinjer collapsed. By the 25th century, the planetary debris field is a hazard to navigation along several trade routes, and associated kinoplasmic radiation also affects computer systems and navigation sensors.
