Klenman was a female Starfleet officer in the 24th century. In the 2350s, Klenman held the rank of lieutenant commander, and served as an aide to Starfleet Academy instructor Owen Paris. Klenman stayed as aide to Admiral Paris until at least 2365, by which point she had reached the rank of captain. (VOY novel: Mosaic)
