The Klingon Medical Authority was an organization of Klingon doctors, created in 2376, replacing the Klingon Physicians Enclave, with the goal of advancing Klingon medicine. Doctors Valatra and Kandless were made the first leaders of the KMA by Chancellor Martok, at the recommendation of Dr. B'Oraq. (KE novel: A Burning House)
