The Koro't'inga-class was a type of Klingon Empire battlecruiser starship in KDF service in the early 25th century, a subclass of the K't'inga-class design. These vessels were usually commanded by an officer holding the rank of commander. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)

SpecificationsEdit

The Koro't'inga-class was a refit to the K't'inga-class battlecruisers in service since the 2270s. Visually, the design harked back to the D4-class cruisers of the 22nd century.

The Koro't'inga was equipped with disruptor energy weapons and photon torpedoes but could be equipped with any available weaponry. Its special feature was the magnetometric generator, which allowed the ship to charge a magnetometric overload from its deflector dish to push back enemy vessels. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)

Hull material optionsEdit

KDF commanders were able to choose the hull material, or "skin", of their Koro't'inga-class starships. Besides the more detailed patterns available to every starship in the 25th century, there were five basic hull material options. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)

HistoryEdit

In 2409, several Koro't'inga-class cruisers participated in a battle between Romulan Republican and Klingon forces against a Tal Shiar fleet in the Azha system. The allied fleet emerged victorious and destroyed all Tal Shiar ships, including the IRW Aethra. (STO mission: "Tradecraft")
