Krintar was a rare Cardassian plant and foodstuff. Krintar roots were a primary ingredient in halant stew. The Cardassian colony world of Nramia was a significant exporter of krintar prior to an attack by a Maquis terrorist in 2371. (ST novel: The Brave and the Bold)
