Ensign La Monica was a Starfleet officer stationed on board the USS Enterprise-E. After Beverly Crusher recommended she stop using hazardous holodeck programs like skydiving, La Monica tried the relaxing Hoobishan Baths program. She slipped on a wet tile and broke her arm. La Monica has now sworn off all holodeck programs. She was later assaulted by her own sofa. She is very accident prone. (TNG novel: Q & A)
