In the mirror universe, Leeta was a Bajoran woman working with the rebels on Terok Nor. "Smiley" O'Brien instructed her to "debrief" Ezri Tigan, following the Terran Rebellion's defeat of Regent Worf, which Leeta apparently took literally. When the counterpart universe's Rom told her "we're married!", she gave him a disgusted look and sneered, "I don't think so...!". (DS9 episode: "The Emperor's New Cloak")

Like the mirror Ezri and Intendant Kira Nerys, Leeta seemed to prefer female companionship. In late 2375, Leeta married Ezri, although the couple waited some time before announcing their marriage.

Unlike her regular universe counterpart, Leeta did not grow up in an orphanage. She knew both of her parents, who routinely called her and attempted to persuade her to return to Bajor. She always turned them down, saying that the Terran Rebellion needed her. (DS9 novel: Saturn's Children)
