In the mirror universe, Leeta was a Bajoran working with the rebels on Terok Nor. "Smiley" O'Brien instructed her to "debrief" Ezri Tigan, following the Terran Rebellion's defeat of Regent Worf, which Leeta apparently took literally. When Rom told her "We're married!", she gave him a disgusted look and sneered, "I don't think so...!".
Like Ezri and Intendant Kira Nerys,Leeta seemed to prefer female companionship. In late 2375,Leeta married Ezri Tigan, although the couple waited some time before announcing their marriage.
Unlike her regular universe counterpart, Leeta did not grow up in an orphanage. She knew both of her parents, who routinely called her and attempted to persuade her to return to Bajor. She always turned them down, saying that the Terran Rebellion needed her. (DS9 novel: "Saturn's Children")
