Legira was a binary star, a pair of white class A stars with an associated star system. The Legira system was located within the Markonia sector and Tekara sector block of the galaxy's Delta Quadrant. Legira hosted four planets. In the 25th century, it was under the control of the Vaadwaur Supremacy. (STO - With Friends Like These... mission: "Legira System Patrol")

Location[]

Markonia sector

The Markonia sector in 2410.

When the Delta Alliance expanded into the Delta Quadrant, astrography placed the Legira system in the Markonia sector of the Tekara sector block, part of the larger Delta Quadrant sector block. The system was under Vaadwaur control. (STO - The Delta Quadrant mission: "With Friends Like These...")

Stellar specifics[]

Legira A had an average, hydrogen-rich core temperature of 7,800 degrees Kelvin. Legira B burned more than 2,000 degrees hotter but had a similar composition. (STO - With Friends Like These... mission: "Legira System Patrol")

History[]

Around 12590 BCE, some 15.000 years before the 25th century, Legira II had a native population. The extreme buildup of greenhouse gases rendered the atmosphere too dense and toxic for humanoid life. (STO - The Delta Quadrant mission: "With Friends Like These...")

From 2409, the Vaadwaur revived their former empire as the Vaadwaur Supremacy. They began attacking advanced Delta Quadrant races and cultures. (STO - The Iconian War mission: "Time in a Bottle")

In 2410, the Legira system was under Vaadwaur control. Rai Sahen of Republic Intelligence partnered with another Delta Alliance starship. The system was contested between the Alliance and Supremacy after the Allies had placed satellites there. Sahen used those to lure Vaadwaur ships into the system, which the Allies then attacked to learn about the headquarters from their databanks. Two worlds were identified as potential operational bases, including Kartella Prime. (STO - The Delta Quadrant mission: "With Friends Like These...")
