Leonard Nimoy is an actor who is most famous for portraying Spock in Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Animated Series and its spin-off movies. Nimoy also reprised his role in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes: "Unification, Part I" and "Unification, Part II", and in 2009's Star Trek. Archive footage of Nimoy from "The Trouble with Tribbles" and "Mirror, Mirror" was used in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Trials and Tribble-ations".

In 1968, Leonard Nimoy was transported aboard the USS Enterprise for a short period. (DS9 - Star Trek: The New Voyages short story: "Visit to a Weird Planet Revisited")

In 1999, Nimoy reprised his role opposite John de Lancie's Q in the audioplay, Spock vs. Q, where Spock argued for the continued survival of humanity.
