Leran Manev is the capital city of Trill, a Federation Member. Site of the Trill Senate Tower, Leran Manev was rocked by social unrest in 2376 that turned into mass riots when a local terrorist group detonated an energy weapon designed to kill Trill symbionts, leading to thousands of deaths.(DS9 novel: Trill: Unjoined)
