Liscom is a seemingly harmless gas produced by a widespread flora on planet Delta Sigma IV. Over the course of a few generations, the gas had built up as deposits in the lungs of the Bader and Dorset colonists, slowly reducing the lifespan of each subsequent generation whilst also drugging them into a peaceful mental state. ^{[citation needed]}
