Llaekh-ae'rl was a martial art known to the Romulan people and was known as "laughing death".

This combat form required the user to root themselves to the ground and control their movements. N'alae was an expert in this art and attempted to teach it to Ael i-Mhiessan t'Rllaillieu, however, her fire proved to be the better of her which meant she never learnt to use it.
