The GCS Lotan was a Gorn starship in active service during the late 24th century.

During the Borg invasion in 2381, the Lotan was dispatched to the Azure Nebula to join the other allied reinforcements there to prevent further Borg incursions. While on station, the Lotan was assigned the task to determine the proper soliton wave frequency to open subspace tunnel aperture twenty-six. Although the USS Voyager assisted in the effort, before they could complete the assignment, tunnel twenty-six opened to allow over seven thousand Borg cubes through, assaulting the awaiting fleet.
