Louisiana is a region of the North American continent on the planet Earth, with boundaries that were created as the area was settled as a geopolitical subdivision of the United States of America nation.

HistoryEdit

Louisiana is located in the southern part of the United States. The eastern border of the state is at the Mississippi River, and to the south it is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico.

Captain Benjamin Sisko is a native of Louisiana, having been born in the city of New Orleans in 2332. His father Joseph Sisko still lives in New Orleans, and owns a creole restaurant named Sisko's Creole Kitchen, in the French Quarter of the city. ^{[citation needed]}
