Lowell was a male Human student at Berkeley University in the late 2260s and early 2270s. He was a member of the group Students for Stars for the People, and through that organization had met Spock. Lowell intended to study law, though Spock did not feel he had an especially ordered mind. (TOS novel: Prime Directive)
