Lyla was the sentient computer on Xyon of Calhoun's starship, the Lyla. Xyon 'liberated' her from the Daystrom Institute. She has mentioned that she was not always a computer. She can be 'present' inside the ship in holographic form. At last report, her holographic form was set to look like Kalinda, although she could also appear as an Orion slave girl.
