Magic Carpet Ride OCD Decipher

In 2063 Zefram Cochrane held an OCD that contained a recording of the song Magic Carpet Ride.

Magic Carpet Ride was a rock and roll song from Earth. The song was written by the 20th century humans John Kay and Rushton Moreve of the band Steppenwolf and released in 1968. After its release the song became one of that band's most popular songs.

Approximately 95 years after the song's release, Zefram Cochrane insisted on playing the song as the warp ship Phoenix took off from Cochrane's base in Montana for his first test of the ship's warp drive. (TNG movie: Star Trek: First Contact) A copy of the song was stored on an OCD. (CCG set: First Contact, card: "Magic Carpet Ride OCD")
