Maran Bry was a Cardassian poet who was highly critical of the Occupation of Bajor. One of Bry's poems, Paean to Kunderah, contrasted a victory in battle against the Klingons to the Occupation. Another work by Bry was Solar Winds. (DS9 novel: A Stitch in Time)
