Marc Tomson was a Human male who served in Starfleet in the 24th century.

History Edit

Shortly before 2370 Tomson was posted on Vulcan, where he developed a passion for the "irresistible unapproachable Vulcan women". His next assignment, then at the rank of ensign, was to the wormhole research team on Deep Space 9, where he spent much of his spare time fine tuning a holosuite program featuring a Vulcan woman named T'Leena.

In 2370 he was running the T'Leena program when a baby Horta tunneled into the holosuite, emerging between Tomson's legs. He jumped out of the holographic bed and collided with T'Leena trying to escape. He deactivated the program to disentangle himself from the Vulcan and found himself cut off from his uniform by the Horta so he made a run for it, dashing through Quark's with a very red blush.

He went straight to Odo's security office to report the incident where he was given a blanket to cover up.

Later, Tomson was still clad in only the blanket when he was working in ops while the station was dealing with the crisis the Horta and it's siblings were causing. He lost the towel several times and eventually gave up, and got on with his job in the nude. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky)
