Captain Margaret C. Clark was a 24th century Human woman, an officer of the Federation Starfleet.

BiographyEdit

In the 2340s, Clark was an instructor at Starfleet Academy. In 2341, she assigned Glen Majors as cadet leader for a mission to a Umiiga space station. She commanded the USS Republic for this mission. She was a tall woman, with gray-streaked brown hair. (TNG - Starfleet Academy novel: Secret of the Lizard People)

In the year 2374, a casualty report filed by the starships USS Cochrane, USS Wyoming and USS Nobel, as well as reports from Starbase 129 and Starbase 153 all noted that Captain Clark was missing in action. An additional report from the USS Repulse stated she was wounded in action. (DS9 episodes: "In the Pale Moonlight", "What You Leave Behind")

Later, in 2375, reports of Captain Clark's missing status remained on record from the Cochrane, Wyoming, Nobel and Starbase 129, and Repulse continued to list her among the wounded. (DS9 episodes: "Image in the Sand", "The Siege of AR-558")

Apparently named after Star Trek book editor Margaret Clark, Clark's name appeared on casualty list computer displays seen multiple times beginning in that episode. It is unclear which of the ships listed was her home assignment in the 2370s.
