Marie Severin

Memory Beta, the wiki for licensed Star Trek content.

Marie Severin was an artist who provided the color art for Marvel Super Special, Issue 15, which was Marvel Comics's adaptation of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. As previous series for Gold Key Comics never credited color guide artists, Marie is the first ever artist to receive on-page credit for coloring a comic issue of a Star Trek series.

This work was later reprinted as the first three issues of the Marvel's monthly Star Trek series, as well as in a trade paperback reprint of the adaptation. It remains to be seen if the pages of that work will be reprinted in original color tones or if the work will be redone for the Movie Omnibus reprint of the TMP adaptation, in late 2009.

As part of the studio group Diverse Hands (credited as "D. Hands"), Marie contributed to the finish ink art for TOS comic: "All the Infinite Ways", the thirteenth issue of Marvel's Star Trek.
