Lieutenant Mark Strigl was a male Starfleet operations officer serving aboard the USS Musashi by 2381.

During the Borg Invasion of 2381, the Musashi and five other Starfleet vessels attempted to save the planet Deneva from six Borg cubes. After losing half their forces to the Borg, Captain Alex Terapane attempted to order the USS Forrestal and the USS Potemkin to regroup and protect the civilian transports, but Strigl reported that the Borg were jamming all of their communications.

After the Forrestal and Potemkin were destroyed by the Borg forces, Captain Terapane ordered their entire stock of transphasic torpedoes armed and prepared a suicide ramming course. Strigl prepared their log buoy and launched it once the evacuation of the ship was complete. He, along with the rest of the bridge crew, perished in the line of duty, taking out two cubes with their sacrifice. (ST - Destiny novel: Lost Souls)
