(SCE eBook: Many Splendors) She and her husband had a son, Jeremy, in 2354. Her husband died of Rushton infection in 2361. (TNG episode: "The Bonding")
At some point in her career, Aster visited Jureosa, where she made amazing discoveries.
Aster came aboard the USS Enterprise-D in mid-2364. She befriended Lieutenant Kieran Duffy soon after arriving, and the two briefly dated. (SCE eBook: Many Splendors)
During an away mission in 2366 on the homeworld of the Koinonians, Aster was killed by a bomb from a long-ago war. The Koinonians later created a replica of Aster in an attempt to mitigate the effect of her loss on her son. (TNG episode: "The Bonding")
Aster's body was returned to Earth, and interred at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx. (TNG novel: Diplomatic Implausibility)
After Worf was paralyzed in an accident and contemplated suicide, William Riker brought up Aster's name in a list of examples of comrades killed in action who fought for life to the end. (TNG episode: "Ethics")
