Marlyn Del Cid, a female human, was a Counselor aboard the USS Amargosa. In 2379 while the Amargosa was assigned to assist the USS Enterprise-E with the reconstruction of Tezwa, Deanna Troi began seeing Del Cid regularly after her fiance Commander William T. A short time after Riker was safely back on the Enterprise, Troi contacted Del Cid in the middle of the night. She was having trouble sleeping due to a recent fight with her mother and nightmares about her interrogation of General Gyero Minza.
