Martin Arkady was an identity that Pavel Chekov assumed during an undercover mission to the Dark Range Platform in 2293. Arkady was given the backstory of being a disgruntled Starfleet officer who had served for thirty years but had become embittered and sought some revenge on the Federation using surplus Klingon military hardware.
