Martin Luther (10 November 148318 February 1546) was a German monk, theologian, university professor, priest, father of Protestantism, and church reformer whose ideas started the Protestant Reformation and changed the course of Western civilization who lived in the late 15th century and mid-16th century on Earth.

Legacy[]

After Earth Starfleet Captain Erika Hernandez and other Columbia officers stuck on the Caeliar city-ship of Axion were thrown back in time to 1519, Hernandez thought of Martin Luther during her exile and his challenge of papal infallibility. (ST - Destiny novel: Mere Mortals)
