Martok was a Klingon male who lived at the time of the founding of the House of Martok.
Martok's grandson Martok was named in his honor. His grandson later honored Martok himself with his service in the Klingon Defense Force. General Martok thought of his grandfather during Alexander Rozhenko's induction in the House of Martok in 2374. (DS9 novelization: ...Sacrifice of Angels)
