Marva IV was a planet in the Demilitarized Zone between the Federation and the Cardassian Union. Many Federation colonists from Salva II relocated to Marva IV following their eviction by the Cardassians, and the world became a Maquis base. In 2373, Captain Benjamin Sisko visited Marva IV in search of a Maquis informant, Cing'ta, but was met by Michael Eddington instead. (DS9 episode: "For the Uniform")
