The Mas To Gal-class (known in translation from Klingonaase as the Throne Seeker-class, alphanumeric designation T5-class) was a Klingon class VII assault starship in Imperial Defense Force service in the 23rd century, becoming active on reference stardate 2/0310. A second series, the T5B, became active stardate 2/1211. These vessels were produced, about 14 per year, at Fonawl and Mustaka

The T5A vessels crewed 74, while the T5B series crewed 76, both with space to carry 1,400 troops for deployment. Additionally, the T5 could carry 60,000 metric tons of cargo, rated at 1,200 SCU (standard cargo units). Unloaded, the T3A vessels weighed 83,700 metric tons, while the T3B weighted an improved 88,200 metric tons. Both series measured 270 meters in length, 165 meters in width and 60 meters in height.

The T5's computer was of the ZD-5 type, and the vessels were loaded with 6 standard personnel transporters (6 person), 10 combat deployment transporters (22 person), 2 evacuation transporters (18 person) and 10 cargo transport stages (8 of them small scale, 2 of them large scale). There were also 15 Klingon shuttlecraft standard to these vessels. These vessels were capable of beaming down 292 troops, 8 light vehicles and 2 large vehicles every two minutes. In less than ten minutes, all 1,400 troops, 32 light vehicles and 8 large vehicles could be deployed to ground.

The T5 warp engines were KWD-1 type, rated to cruise at warp seven and max out at warp factor 8. T53A impulse engines were of the KIB-2 type, T5B had KID-1 drives. The T5A had 6 KD-1 disruptor emitters, and the T5B had 6 KD-11 emitters, each with arcs of fire to fore and aft as well as port and starboard. The vessels had no launcher weapons but were defended by KSJ or KSG model deflector shields.

By the end of the 23rd century, the T5 was still in production, with over 343 vessels having been built. Over the years, 4 vessels were allocated to reserve fleets, 47 destroyed, with 14 T5As and 4 T5Bs sold to private interests. About 120 of the T5A models were converted to the T5B design.
