The Masai were an ethnic group which originated from Africa on the planet Earth.

During early Human expansion from Earth many Masai left to colonise the desert planet Eristas. The vast plains of Eristas developed a masai in which velocity gained an almost religious significance, reflected even in their names, for instance; Moves-With-Burning-Grace.
