Matthew Brady was a 19th century Human man. He was a famous American Civil War photo journalist and known in particular for having taken many photographs of American President Abraham Lincoln.

Legacy[]

Montgomery Scott was familiar with Brady's work. In 2267, Scott called up an article on phasers in his quarters, but a photo of Lincoln was displayed instead. Scott immediately recognized it as having being taken by Brady. Frustrated, he called Spock, alerting him that the main computer was misplacing data records. (TOS novel: Web of the Romulans)
