me'Grmat VI was a female al'Hmatti who reigned as emperor of the planet al'Hmat until 2161, when the Klingon Empire conquered the planet (which they renamed taD) and replaced me'Grmat VI with a male figurehead emperor. me'Grmat VI was venerated in the centuries to follow as the last true emperor, and as a symbol of the greatness the al'Hmatti hoped to one day regain.
