Mehar was Bajoran Starfleet officer who served on board the Federation starship USS Voyager in the 2370s.
In 2372, when Voyager traveled to the Denar system. she was involved in a food fight ensued by a brawl in the ship's mess hall.
During this altercation she exchanged blows with Tom Paris and Harry Kim. Thought she was involved in the fight she did not suffer any disciplinary reprimands and was at her post when Tuvok sounded the [[red alert] after the abduction of Captain Janeway. (VOY comic: "Relicquest, Part One")
During the crisis she was in charge of the alpha security team and was assigned to engineering. (VOY comic: "Relicquest, Part Two")
