Mekor Dukat was the son of Skrain Dukat and the nephew of Akellen Macet. He was born in 2360.

In 2371, Mekor's father was to take him to Lakarian City, but Thomas Riker's capture of the USS Defiant made this impossible. (DS9 episode: "Defiant")
