Mesto Drade was a Bajoran man.
In 2346, Mesto was detained by the Cardassians. The Cardassian authorities had been passed information from Thill Revi that Mesto had parts of a warp reactor and chemical explosives hidden on his barn. When interviewed by Natima Lang, Thill commented that the reason he had exposed Mesto was that he felt Mesto had looked down on him, on account of them being from different castes in the D'jarra.
