Lieutenant Michael Zipser was the Alpha shift communications officer on board the USS Carthage. He hated the nickname 'Zip'. He was dumped by Velazquez in 2328. Zipser remained onboard the Carthage until at least the year 2343. (TLE novel: The Art of the Impossible)
