Mino orDresha was a female Payav of the nation-state of Gelta on planet Mestiko. A scientist, she worked with some of the greatest minds on Mestiko, and as of the early 2260s, was chief science advisor to Gelta's First Consul, Flen etHamwora.

Circa 2264, Mino was approached by members of a Federation covert observation team, who confirmed recent findings made by Mestiko's scientific community that a rogue pulsar was heading for the Mestiko system, threatening all life on the planet.
