For the mirror universe counterpart, see Mogh (mirror).

Mogh was a male Klingon who lived during the first half of the 24th century. He was the son of Worf, and upon Worf's death became leader of the House of Mogh. Married to Kaasin, he had two sons, Worf, who was named after his grandfather, and Kurn.

In 2333, Mogh was first officer of the IKS Pu'Bekh under Captain K'mpec. Later, when K'mpec gained a seat on the High Council, Mogh was elevated to captain. (TLE novel: The Art of the Impossible)

Mogh became suspicious that a high ranking Klingon was working with the Romulans. He followed the lead to Khitomer. When his rival Ja'rod betrayed the outpost to the Romulans, Mogh, his wife, and over 4,000 other Klingons died in the attack. (TLE novel: The Art of the Impossible; TNG episode: "Sins of the Father")
