Mollie Katz was a Human individual who served in Starfleet as a transporter chief in the 24th century. Joining the service in the early 2300s, Katz had served aboard the Federation starships USS Phoenix, USS Exeter and USS Yorktown, before being assigned to Starbase 32 in the 2330s.

During one duty shift in 2333, Katz was called upon to transport several Starfleet officers to the USS Stargazer, including one in a customized containment suit. (STA novel: Gauntlet)
