A mongcat was a lavender striped animal. The mongcat on the USS Enterprise in 2268 was named Fuzzybutt. This animal had six tiny, human like hands and a prehensile tail. Mongcats can communicate using a wailing, high pitched noise. (TOS novel: Vulcan!)
