Monroe was a female Starfleet officer in the 24th century. As of 2368, she held the rank of Lieutenant, junior grade, and was assigned as a conn officer aboard the USS Enterprise-D. She was killed that year when the Enterprise struck a quantum filament. (TNG episode: "Disaster")
