In a vision experience by Kira Nerys in 2377, the fortress of Parek Tonn was built into the mountain. (DS9 novel: Warpath)

In 2371, several former members of the Shakaar Resistance Cell sought refuge from the Bajoran Militia in a stronghold in the mountain and Shakaar Edon planned to travel there to meet them. (DS9 episode: "Shakaar")
