Murfreesboro is a city located in the state of Tennessee, USA, on Earth.

In the 2260s, Lieutenant Henry Beason's elderly aunt resided in the city. Upon Beason's death during an attack on the USS Enterprise, it was decided that his aunt was too feeble to leave the house for any kind of funeral service, so it was decided to perform the ceremony aboard the Enterprise.
