Murgh was a male Klingon in the Klingon Defense Force in the 23rd century. As of 2287, he was newly assigned as communications officer of the IKS Terthos. That year, while the ship was at Starbase 49 for peace talks with the Federation, Murgh recruited Commander Nyota Uhura of the USS Enterprise to help identify a malfunction in his communications system.
