Myrmidon is an inhabited planet known for its ruins. It has large continents and vast webs of rivers and deltas. It also has common windstorms known as Myrmidon wind devils. (TNG novels: A Time for War, A Time for Peace, The Genesis Wave, The Battle of Betazed)

Prior to 2369, Vash was able to "appropriate" the Crown of the First Mother, the theft of which made her wanted dead or alive on Myrmidon. (DS9 episode: "Q-Less")

In 2376, the USS Neptune arrived at Myrmidon with no crew. A team from the USS Enterprise-E were later affected by an unknown life form and attacked the planet. (TNG novels: The Genesis Wave, Book 1, The Genesis Wave, Book 2)

In 2379, Jean-Luc Picard wanted to read a book on Myrmidon's ruins. He was attempting to decide between reading about it, B'hala or the Tkon Empire before he was called to duty. (TNG novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace)
