In 2285, NC-141 was one of a number of vessels that became combatants when the Excalbians instigated the Federation-Klingon War of 2285, and was paired off in combat against a K't'inga-class battlecruiser of the Klingon Empire. (TOS comic: "Deadly Allies!")

The ship was only seen with a registry number, no other naming was specified.
