Nal Dejar was a Cardassian female who served as an Obsidian Order operative in the 24th century.

In the late 2360s, Dejar was a member of Elim Garak's last cell before his disgraced exile to Terok Nor. Dejar went on to become the close friend and companion of Pythas Lok and nursed him back to health after he sustained serious injuries. (DS9 novel: A Stitch in Time, DS9 - Prophecy and Change short story: "The Calling")

In 2371, Dejar came to Deep Space 9, posing as the third member of a Cardassian Science Ministry team. Her mission was to sabotage the wormhole relay station project which was a joint venture between the Cardassian Union, Bajor and Starfleet. Dejar sabotaged the USS Defiant's weapons, destroying a comet that was on course for the Bajoran wormhole, rather than destroying it. She was exposed as an Order member by Gilora Rejal.
