In 2354, Jerusalmi notified Dr. Beverly Crusher of the death of her husband, Jack Crusher. Several days later, she informed Crusher of an opening aboard the USS Hammarskjöld for a chief medical officer. (TNG novel: Losing the Peace)

The following year in 2355, Jerusalmi led the court of inquiry into the destruction of the USS Stargazer, which led to three court-martial offenses leveled against its captain, Jean-Luc Picard. (TNG - The Lost Era novel: The Buried Age)
